How To Measure:

Inside Recess

  1. Measure inside width in several places, particularly at top of recess.
  2. Measure inside drop in several places.
  3. We will make the necessary allowances.

Outside Recess

If you would like your blinds to hang outside your window recess, you need to decide the size you prefer. We suggest a blind should project at least 75mm (3") over the whole of the recess.

Note:>

For accuracy it is preferable that all window dimensions are taken with a steel tape or rule. Prices include all necessary fixing brackets. NB. For roller blinds only, the blind fabric will be the 35mm (1 3/5") narrower than the recess width.

How To Measure Perfect Fit Blinds:

Measure the width and the drop of your glass size accurately with a digital measuring tape. We recommend that you measure in both corners and the middle of your window and use the smallest size taken.This will give you your Perfect Fit frame size.

Measure Window Depth:

Measure the depth of the window using a depth gauge. This gives you the measurement from the face of the window frame to the glass. Please indicate when placing your order.

Skylight Blinds

Please quote the 3 letter and 3 digit code displayed on your skylight identification plate located on the window frame.
